When I was young I'd listen to the radio, Waiting for my favorite songs
나 어렸을 때 제일 좋아하는 노래들을 기다리면서 라디오를 듣곤 했었어요

When they played I'd sing along.  It made me smile
그 노래들이 나오면 혼자 따라 부르며 미소 지었지요

Those were such happy times and not so long ago
정말 행복한 시절이었어요. 그리고 그리 오래전 일도 아닌데

How I wondered where they've gone
그 시절이 어디로 갔는지 궁금해요

But they're back again just like a long lost friend
하지만 그때의 그 추억들이 마치 오랫동안 보지 못했던 친구처럼 다시 돌아오는 것 같아요

모든 그 노래들을 무척 좋아했었는데

그중에서 샤라~ 우우~ 하는 노래하는 모든 부분이 여전히 멋지게 느껴져요

노래 시작할 때 싱어링~이라고 부르는 부분도 정말로 근사하죠

When they get to the part where he's breaking her heart
노래 중에 남자가 여자의 마음을 아프게 하는 부분에 이르면

It can really make me cry just like before
마치 전과 같이 정말로 나를 또 울리는 것 같아요

Looking back on how it was in years gone by
세월이 지나서 그 시절이 어땠는지 뒤돌아보니

And the good times that I had makes today seem rather sad.  So much has changed.
현재 나의 삶은 그 좋았던 시절들에 비하여 오히려 처량하게 느껴져요. 너무 많은 것들이 변했어요

It was songs of love that I would sing to then
그 시절 따라 불렀던 것은 사랑 노래들이었는데

And I'd memorize each word
난 가사를 모두 기억하고 있지요

Those old melodies still sound so good to me.  As they melt the years away
시간의 벽을 허물게 하는 그 옛 노래 멜로디를 아직도 난 좋아해요

그중에서 샤라~ 우우~ 하는 노래하는 모든 부분이 여전히 멋지게 느껴져요

All my best memories come back clearly to me.  Some can even make me cry just like before
나의 모든 좋은 기억들이 다시 뚜렷이 되돌아와 마치 예전처럼 날 다시 울릴 것만 같아요
